Premier IT exhibiting at 2017 CNO Summit
We're proud to announce that we'll be exhibiting at the CNO Summit this year! The highly anticipated event is hosted by Chief Nursing Officer of England, Jane Cummings, and will take place on the 14th-15th March 2017 in Birmingham. A plethora of senior nurse leaders will be attending the event which centres on harnessing leadership potential to influence the future of healthcare.
If you're constantly striving to improve the patient experience, this event will provide you with a renewed outlook on how to turn your ideas into practice. You'll have the chance to learn new skills, share expertise and create valuable connections with a range of influential industry leaders.
The 2017 Summit will build on the 'Leading Change, Adding Value' framework which provides nurses and care staff the opportunity to demonstrate their value under the objectives of the Triple Aim. The framework aims to close the gaps identified in the Five Year Forward View which are in three crucial areas:
- Health and Wellbeing
- Care and Quality
- Funding and Efficiency
To help align these efforts, the framework offers 10 aspirational commitments that can be applied to any scenario, at any level, including:
- the right education, training and development to enhance skills, knowledge and understanding
- championing the use of technology and informatics to improve practice, address unwarranted variations and enhance outcomes
How can Premier IT help support these commitments?
Since our inception, we've been focused on providing professional education, training and development software in order to help organisations enhance their knowledge and expertise of their staff. At Premier IT we coordinate, facilitate and support accessible training and education through courses such as the Appraisal Skills Training for Nurses, as well as our full suite of e-Learning modules which are integrated with all our software.
We are already championing the use of technology with our easy-to-use, online systems that provide healthcare professionals with the opportunity to organise and manage their personal development more effectively. Over 15,000 nurses and midwives are already using the HeART e-Portfolio to fulfil their appraisal and revalidation requirements. The introduction of our QWALA software means that care support workers can complete, record and reflect assessments for each of the 15 Care Certificate standards.
Not only are our systems modern, intuitive and secure, but they also allow organisations to work more efficiently in order to improve general practice and productivity as highlighted in the Carter Review.
By aligning these efforts with the 6Cs, nursing and care staff can hope to achieve better outcomes, use of resources, and ultimately, patient care.
